Bus service launched from Bihar to Nepal

The present chief minister of bihar Mr.Nitish Kumar has recently flagged off the bus service between Nepal and Bihar. The bus service aims at connecting Bodh Gaya and Patna in Bihar to Kathmandu and Janakpur in Nepal. This service is considered as a major positive step towards Indo-Nepal relations.

This service even aims to uplift buddhist tourism in our country.The buses are air-conditioned and can accomodate 45 passengers at a stretch.Bihar-Nepal buses connecting Bodhgaya and Kathmandu via Patna, Raxaul and Beerganj have already started while 4 buses from Patna to Janakpur through Muzaffarpur will be operated and bus service from Bodhgaya to Kathmandu is expected to start from september itself.
